This beautiful shibori tie-dyed Japanese kimono jacket (haori) is in a like new condition, although it is vintage and had been worn. There are no holes or tears. It is in a cherry red color, and comes with a handmade custom tie.
The exterior shibori or tie dye pattern is Japanese chrysanthemums and 100% silk. The liner is a man-made material, with a white on white "sayagata" pattern of interlocking symbols called manji. These symbols represent eternity, family prosperity and long life.
